A life-sized cake of Mr Darcy Character from BBC’s Pride and Prejudice played by Colin Firth, has been unveiled to celebrate the launch of Jane Austen Season on UKTV Drama Channel. This 6ft tall creation was on display at National Trust property Lyme Park in Cheshire which was used as Mr Darcy's home Pemberley in the mini-series and where the famous lake scene was filmed. It's made out of vanilla sponge cake with vanilla buttercream filling and chocolate ganache. Michelle uses 25kg of flour, 25kg of butter and 45 kg of sugar and took more than 200 hours to make.
