Big Ben Anamorphic Sweet Art made from London's famous buildings in biscuits and chocolates

The world's first anamorphic food art This picture of Big Ben is the world's first anamorphic food art created by Michelle Wibowo of Michelle Sugar Art to celebrate 'Unexpected Cooking' event at the Aéroville Shopping Centre in Paris. These iconic London’s architecture: The Shard, The Cheesgrater, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, The London Eye, The Gherkin, Buckingham Palace and Battersea Power Station Are cleverly aligned to make a giant picture of Big Ben when viewed from certain angle.   This confectionery art is made entirely in hundreds of biscuits, English shortbread, wafer, chocolate, custard cream, breadsticks, and marshmallow glued together with melted chocolate.    Visitor of the shopping mall were invited to take pictures and take part in the cooking show during the event.     Michelle and her creation: The world's first anamorphic food art installation

The Queen Elizabeth II Sugar Sculpture Won Gold at the Culinary Olympics

PRESS RELEASE The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Inspired Creation won Gold and Silver for Britain at the Culinary Olympics Michelle Wibowo, a sussex cake maker has been awarded a gold and silver medal for her creation at the culinary olympics in Erfurt, Central Germany which opens on Saturday 6th October 2012. Inspired by Queen’s diamond jubilee celebration she created a lifelike sugar sculpture of the Queen Elizabeth II which won a gold medal for Category Patisserie show piece and sculpted welsh corgi dog english fruit cake for a silver in Culinary artistry - cold food. It took Ms Wibowo 2 weeks to prepare and both creations have consumed more than 25 kg sugar paste (fondant). The Power of Making at the V&A - The Telegraph This autumn, one of my creations - the baby cake will be exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London among other artists in a contemporary art collaboration called "The Power of Making".  The V&A and Crafts Council celebrate the role of making in our lives by presenting an eclectic selection of over 100 exquisitely crafted objects, ranging from a life-size crochet bear to a ceramic eye patch, a fine metal flute to dry stone walling. Power of Making is a cabinet of curiosities showing works by both amateurs and leading makers from around the world to present a snapshot of making in our time. Calling all food art enthusiasts and sugar sculpture aficionados! I'm thrilled to share my latest creation that recently took center stage at the Experimental Food Society's "Spectacular" event in London: a hyper-realistic, life-size suckling pig cake, entirely crafted from sponge cake and sugar paste! This wasn't your average dessert. It was a meticulously detailed edible sculpture, complete with every pink wrinkle, playful curl of the tail, and even tiny, realistic vegetables nestled around it. Imagine the surprised gasps and wide-eyed wonder as guests encountered this unexpected culinary illusion! But the fun didn't stop at aesthetics.
