A Watch-Shaped Cake for Stuart's 70th Birthday

Image
Celebrating Stuart's 70th birthday, his wife Denise commissioned a fabulous cake in the shape of his favourite luxury watch, the Breitling Superocean Chronometre. The cake was made by Michelle, a talented cake artist who specializes in creating realistic and intricate cakes. She used a variety of materials to create the cake, including fondant, sugarpaste, and edible glitter. She even inserted an actual clock mechanism into the cake so that it would show the correct time! The cake was a huge hit with Stuart and his guests. They were amazed by the detail and craftsmanship of the cake. It was the perfect way to celebrate Stuart's special day.

10th Anniversary Cake

Image
To celebrate her client's 10th wedding anniversary, Michelle created an amazing cake based on the concept of a butterfly sanctuary. The cake floats on top of a large, illuminated peony flower, from which butterflies emerge. A rotating mechanism at the top, along with fibre optic string lights, adds an element of movement.  The giant peony is approximately 22 inches in diameter, and the entire creation is about 1 meter tall. Michelle says that she was inspired by the client's love of butterflies and their symbolism of new beginnings and transformation.  She wanted to create a cake that was both beautiful and meaningful, and she believes that she achieved this with the Butterfly Sanctuary Cake. The cake was a huge hit with the client and her guests. They were amazed by the intricate details and the delicate beauty of the butterflies. Michelle is proud of the cake and is glad that she could create something so special for a special occasion.

A Gigantic Disney Princess Cake

Image
Imagine stepping into a fairytale where your favorite Disney princess towers over you, not in grandeur, but in frosting and cake! This isn't a scene from a fever dream, but the reality of a gigantic, 2-meter-tall cake creation inspired by the magic of Disney. This culinary titan, weighing in at an impressive 200 kilograms, is no mere sweet treat. It's a masterpiece of engineering and artistry, built from a base of rich chocolate sponge cake, meticulously layered with luscious chocolate buttercream. But the real magic lies in its exterior, adorned with a whopping 30 kilograms of fondant, bringing the chosen princess to life in vibrant sugar-sculpted glory. Creating this colossal confection is no child's play. Imagine the logistics! Transporting this behemoth requires a dedicated van, carefully navigating the cityscape for two hours until it reaches its designated London venue. There, it takes its rightful place atop a custom-made, 1-meter-tall plinth, ready to reign over a

Brings Music and Dessert Together with an Edible Chocolate Sponge Cake Record Player

Image
To celebrate the release of the record "English-American," Michelle embarked on a delicious journey, channeling her passion for both music and baking. The result? A remarkable edible record player, entirely constructed from decadent chocolate sponge cake. Each tier was meticulously sculpted, capturing the intricate details of a real turntable, from the base to the tonearm. But the magic didn't stop there. Michelle incorporated a rotating mechanism, allowing the sweet turntable to truly come alive. Tiny vinyl records crafted from chocolate graced the platter, their grooves etched with a level of detail that would impress even the most discerning audiophile. But these weren't just eye candy; they were infused with flavors, adding a playful touch to the overall experience. Taking the realism a step further, Michelle ingeniously embedded a Bluetooth speaker within the cake. This allowed the actual "English-American" record to play, filling the air with sweet t
