Celebrating World Sushi Day 2024: Michelle and Yutaka Unveil Edible Portrait Sculptures of British Celebrities

  Michelle is applying finishing touch to her sushi's creation (Photo credit: Simon Jacobs/PinPep) To celebrate World Sushi Day 2024, Michelle, in collaboration with Yutaka, has unveiled a stunning collection of edible portrait sculptures of British celebrities and TV personalities, all made from sushi ingredients. She dedicated approximately 120 hours to sculpt these portraits using sushi rice, konbu, seaweed, roe, and soy sauce for colouring. Dark Horse Wine Food Art Painting

Celebrating the launch of a new delicious premium wine called Dark Horse by one of the largest wine producers in USA EJ Gallo, Michelle Wibowo created an optical illusion painting made of the variety of natural ingredients inspired by the blend of bold taste such as caramel, dried apple, cinnamon, and coffee beans. Taking inspiration from Dark Horse's bold logo and playing on the fascination with optical illusions, Michelle created 'unexpected image' of horses, wine glasses and abstract background of Californian landscape. A giant replica of Game of Thrones’ fictional city King’s Landing, made entirely of gingerbread is currently on display at the Taste of London 2015 Tobacco Dock. The food artist Michelle Wibowo of Michelle Sugar Art has designed this creation exclusively for HBO for this foodie event. Kerrygold Giant Meadow Cake

4 x 18 feet Giant Meadow Cake Michelle Sugar Art and Kerrygold butter reveals a giant meadow cake measuring (2.5x4m) 8 x 14 feet long to the city dwellers at Finsbury Square Avenue in London on Wednesday 22 July 2015. This half-tonne creation is made out of sculpted vanilla sponge cakes with buttercream filling, covered with fondant. There is a miniature farm house, a red barn and around 100 cows made of fondant. Big Ben Anamorphic Sweet Art made from London's famous buildings in biscuits and chocolates

The world's first anamorphic food art This picture of Big Ben is the world's first anamorphic food art created by Michelle Wibowo of Michelle Sugar Art to celebrate 'Unexpected Cooking' event at the Aéroville Shopping Centre in Paris. These iconic London’s architecture: The Shard, The Cheesgrater, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, The London Eye, The Gherkin, Buckingham Palace and Battersea Power Station Are cleverly aligned to make a giant picture of Big Ben when viewed from certain angle.   This confectionery art is made entirely in hundreds of biscuits, English shortbread, wafer, chocolate, custard cream, breadsticks, and marshmallow glued together with melted chocolate.    Visitor of the shopping mall were invited to take pictures and take part in the cooking show during the event.     Michelle and her creation: The world's first anamorphic food art installation
