Celebrating World Sushi Day 2024: Michelle and Yutaka Unveil Edible Portrait Sculptures of British Celebrities

  Michelle is applying finishing touch to her sushi's creation (Photo credit: Simon Jacobs/PinPep) To celebrate World Sushi Day 2024, Michelle, in collaboration with Yutaka, has unveiled a stunning collection of edible portrait sculptures of British celebrities and TV personalities, all made from sushi ingredients. She dedicated approximately 120 hours to sculpt these portraits using sushi rice, konbu, seaweed, roe, and soy sauce for colouring. London has teamed up with cake artist Michelle Wibowo, baked up something truly Shrektacular. Visitors are in for a sweet treat as Shrek’s iconic swamp will be on display made entirely out of gingerbread. Cake artist Michelle Wibowo has worked over 50 hours to recreate every inch of Shrek’s beloved home, from the rickety welcome sign to the quaint outhouse, all with an irresistibly edible twist.
