Making this cake is bringing back my childhood memory. I used to play the Super Mario Bros on my brother's Nintendo 20 years ago. The cake is made to celebrate Enzo's 4th Birthday he is also a big fan of Mario. Watch the making video below:

    Hi just wondering, what type of cake is it made from..?
    Is it sponge? cos it looks so light and fluffy, but i wouldn't have thought sponge could be dense enough to handle the weight of the layers and icing..! pls let me know as i am going to make a cookie monster for a first b'day and would love to make a similar type of cake thats easy to shape!! thx

London has teamed up with cake artist Michelle Wibowo, baked up something truly Shrektacular. Visitors are in for a sweet treat as Shrek’s iconic swamp will be on display made entirely out of gingerbread. Cake artist Michelle Wibowo has worked over 50 hours to recreate every inch of Shrek’s beloved home, from the rickety welcome sign to the quaint outhouse, all with an irresistibly edible twist.
